What is The Cosmos?
The Cosmos is a fast-growing community for Asian women and gender non-binary creators, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and artists to flourish and thrive. Through content and experiences, we empower our community to create the representation and culture change we deserve.

Our community is inclusive of self-identifying women, femmes, gender non-binary, queer, and transgender individuals of Asian, Pacific Islander, South Asian, and mixed race descent, as well as all ages and backgrounds.

Who is the Cosmos Summit for?
Any self-identifying Asian woman and gender non-binary individual who wants to explore and understand their identity, agency, and power. Come to connect with hundreds of Asian women and gender non-binary individuals who share similar values. Come to feel supported no matter where you are in your journey.

I notice that The Cosmos Summit markets to creators — do I qualify as one?
We use the term “creator” to describe more of a mindset than a specific job title or career path! At The Cosmos, we define a creator as someone who wants to create a world that reflects their story using their passions, skills, perspective, and expertise. If that sounds like you, we want to meet you!

Where is The Cosmos Summit taking place?
We’ll be taking over 99 Scott, a beautiful indoor/outdoor space in East Williamsburg. The address is 99 Scott Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11237.

When will the full program lineup be announced?
We’re hard at work assembling an inspirational lineup of Asian women and gender non-binary speakers and workshop leaders. Follow @jointhecosmos on Instagram and check The Cosmos Summit website for announcements!

I’m thinking about attending The Cosmos Summit. What’s the best way to get a taste of the Cosmos Community?
If you’re not already a member of our online community, sign up with your email to get your invite.
Once you accept your invite, you can introduce yourself and experience the support, inspiration, and love for yourself! We also recently expanded to 10 cities across the US where our Cosmos Ambassadors are hosting monthly gatherings for members to meet in person. Check out our Event Calendar for details and to connect with our community IRL!

Which airport do you recommend I fly into?
While JFK is the closest airport to the venue, LGA and EWR are also great airports to consider for flights to New York. Depending on your travel dates and budget, it would be worth looking in to all three!

Where should I stay?
We recommend staying in a hotel or Airbnb in Brooklyn, which generally has options for all kinds of budgets in comparison to Manhattan. If you know you’re planning to take NYC public transportation to the venue, we’d recommend selecting a neighborhood off the L Train which take you closest to our venue.

I’d like to share a hotel room or Airbnb with other summit attendees. How can I coordinate that?
We love this idea! In June, we’ll create a channel within our online community (hosted on Slack) dedicated to helping our attendees find roomies for hotels and Airbnbs. Stay tuned! If you’re not already a member of our online community, sign up with your email to get your invite! New members are added weekly on Mondays.

How do I get there?
The closest subway station is the Jefferson Street (L Train). Be sure to check in with MTA in advance for any weekend train changes.

Is there parking?
Parking is limited. We recommend utilizing NYC’s public transportation or a ride sharing service.

Will tickets sell out?
Yes! We’re making history — you won’t want to miss out!

What if I purchased a ticket via the crowdfund?
The Cosmos will automatically convert your crowdfund donation into a digital ticket. Please check your email for the confirmation. If you don’t see it, please email us at

Do you offer scholarships?
We have a limited number of scholarship tickets available. Be sure to apply here by June 30 11:59 PM ET. Grantees will be contacted via email by July 15.

I bought a ticket to attend The Cosmos Summit and am also interested in teaching a workshop. Can I do both?!
YES. YOU. CAN! Our workshops will take place in the afternoon so you can seamlessly transition during the lunch break from inspiring attendee to badass workshop leader.

I bought a ticket to attend The Cosmos Summit and am also interested in vending at Cosmos Market. Can I do both?!
The Cosmos Summit is an investment in YOU. Your ticket grants you access to a full day of learning and connection with your Constellation group and fellow attendees. If your brand or small business wants to vend, we’d recommend sending another team member or rep to manage your table so you can enjoy your experience.

Can I return my ticket?
We do not accept refunds for The Cosmos Summit tickets.

Can I sell my ticket?
We do not allow third party ticket resale and are unable to permit ticket transfers.

Who do I contact with questions?
For all questions related to The Cosmos Summit, please contact and we’ll be in touch! For general inquiries, you can reach out to us at

Is this event 21+ only?
We welcome attendees ages 18+. No alcohol will be served at the event.
