[NY] The Cosmos x Quilt Learnshop: Navigating Difficult Conversations

Learning how to express ourselves and talk about our feelings in an authentic way is key to nurturing our closest relationships and getting what we want. But when it comes to our friends, family, significant others, coworkers, bosses, or even strangers - it can feel terrifying to say what's on our minds!

Join Cassandra Lam, CEO and Cofounder of The Cosmos, for a hands-on workshop on Navigating Difficult Conversations that will help you develop the muscle to speak your truth in a supportive and intimate space. You'll walk away with more confidence to transform difficult conversations to empowering conversations as well as an arsenal of helpful exercises in your back pocket!

  • 176 Banks Street San Francisco USA (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Join us for a 2-hour Foundations course on blockchain led by Empowerment Designer Saya Iwasaki. No prior experience with cryptocurrencies or blockchain required! Our mission is for women of color to be part of, and influential, in the blockchain and cryptocurrency dialogue. This isn't a panel - by the end of this hands-on session, you will have the tools to be part of the blockchain movement and a new community of support. We will demystify blockchain, explore different use cases and co-create inclusion practices that will help you learn, find communities and people, and dive deeper into blockchain. This is an exclusive curated version of the blockchain course Saya will be teaching at General Assembly.

Read Saya's manifesto on changing blockchain from a conversation for the 1% to a conversation for all, and follow her journey on her blog, Building Blockchain.
